Thank you so much for believing and empowering women like myself to go beyond our comfort zone and try new things. I could feel your kindness and passion in everything you do, and I’m sure you will continue to transform lives by your “learn, earn and play” mantra.
Let me tell you my short but sweet story.
The beginning
Everything started in NFT.NYC where I met Randi and got very excited about Blu3DAOs story and mission, but I got more impressed by the fantastic community and quality of people!
I got to know Randi & Ami in a fun dinner together where we shared so much about our professional and personal life, and they invited me to participate as a hacker in ETHMexico with them.
I felt excited, nervous, and a little intimidated, as I’m not a developer! But they believed in me so I decided to go.

As soon as I walked into the Blu3House sponsored by Polygon, I felt welcomed into a new family, even if I arrived a couple of days later! They take care of every detail and make sure you have a great experience. They take their values very seriously, we are there to learn, earn and play! 
We had panels, workshops, and networking opportunities to learn from smart women in the ecosystem.
I really appreciated that they support team creation, tbh is a little stressing experience.
Time to hack
I teamed up with badass women that wanted to create value in the gaming ecosystem by using web3 technology. We had all profiles on the team: developer Sam, sr. engineer Daphne, engineer Claudia, designer Shannon, and product & business Laluy (me).
Even if I was new to Blu3DAO, they made it so easy to integrate, they rapidly help me getting me up to speed and share their experiences on how to crack a hackathon.
We got our idea, and we started building.  We had 38 hr to learn new things & build something valuable. It was not an easy process, we had to adapt our vision a few times and deal with team issues.. yes working in teams under pressure it´s not an easy task! 
It was great to have the Blu3DAOs that would support us through our journey.
After intense work (and a lot of Mexican food) we built KIWIK.

ETHMexico Finalists!
After pitching 8 times in 2 hours, we got selected as finalists on ETHMexico!  We presented on the main stage, were nervous and happy to share Kiwik with the other hackers. 
I was very satisfied and proud of what we built over the weekend! I think Kiwik can really solve a problem in the community. It was an incredible experience full of learning and fun!

About Kiwik
We created a Kiwik, an NFT marketplace that allows creators and game devs to buy and sell tokenized 3D assets to create higher quality and quantity games and metaverses.
We used Polygon to mint NFTs and our reward tokens, IPFS to store the assets, Lens Protocol to create the social profiles verified by WorldCoin Proof of Personhood Protocol, Wallet Connect for login, and SuperFluid for BnPL.
